South Creek is growing — and we couldn't be more grateful. As more people take their next step toward Jesus, we want to make sure there's always room for whoever God brings through our doors next.
That's why starting November 1, we're moving to two Sunday services: 9:15 AM and 11:00 AM.
This isn't about becoming something we're not. We're not chasing a number — we're staying faithful to the mission that's always driven us: loving people and leading them to new life in Christ. Adding a second service is simply the next step in making room for that to keep happening.
Both services will have the same worship, the same message, and full kids ministry from birth through 5th grade — so however you choose to attend, you'll get the full South Creek experience. It also means more flexibility: worship in one service and serve in the other, work around a busy weekend schedule, or just enjoy a little more breathing room on Sunday mornings.

Why are we making this change?
We believe God has called us to love people and lead them to new life in Christ. As our church continues to grow, we want to make room for more people to experience Jesus and take their next step in faith.
Over the past year, our staff and board have been praying, evaluating, and watching for the right time to make this transition. We believe now is the right time to prepare for the people God may continue to bring, rather than waiting until space becomes a barrier to ministry.
Why not just build more space or use additional rooms?
While those may be part of our future, they do not address our current needs as effectively.
Adding another service immediately creates more space throughout our building, especially in kids ministry, while allowing us to continue serving people well. It is the most practical and mission-focused next step.
Are we trying to become a mega church?
No. We are not pursuing a certain attendance number.
Our goal is to be faithful to Jesus and His mission. If God entrusts us with more people, we simply want to be ready to welcome and disciple them well.
Will the two services be different?
No. Both services will have the same worship, message, kids ministry, and overall experience.
We will continue to be one church with one mission, one vision, and one leadership team. The only difference will be the service time and the people attending.
Which service should I go to?
Whichever one works best for you and your family — there's no wrong answer. Some will pick based on schedule, some based on where their kids' friends or their Life Group lands, and some will just try both and see what fits. It could even change depending on the season you're in, or even week to week based on what's happening in your life. Either way, you'll get the same worship, message, and full kids ministry.
How will two services benefit our church family?
Two services are not only about making room for new people. They also provide greater flexibility for those who already call South Creek home.
Whether someone has afternoon sports, works an unusual schedule, travels on weekends, or wants to worship in one service and serve in the other, having two service times removes barriers that can make consistent church attendance difficult.
Won't it be harder to know people?
Actually, we believe it may help.
The goal is not for everyone to know everyone. The goal is for everyone to be known.
Two slightly smaller gatherings can create more opportunities for meaningful conversations while helping us maintain the welcoming and relational culture that people love about South Creek. We also believe the deepest relationships are built through serving and Life Groups.
Will there be kids ministry in both services?
Yes. Full children's ministry will be available during both services for children from birth through 5th grade.
Won't this require more volunteers?
Yes, but we also see this as an opportunity.
Two services allow more people to discover and use their gifts. Many volunteers will be able to worship in one service and serve in the other, making it easier to stay engaged in both worship and ministry. If you are interested in helping click here to sign-up to serve.
