We continued our teaching series called "The Narrow Path" in which we will be exploring Jesus' "Sermon on The Mount" as we journey to Easter. We explored how Jesus' teaching on giving to the poor, prayer, and fasting . Below are some of our key take aways from the message.

  • Giving, fasting, and prayer were never meant to be public performances but rather private postures of love and devotion.

  • Giving might not change the world, but it will change you.

  • Prayer might not always change circumstances, but it will change you.

  • Fasting might not feel rewarding in the moment, but it will transform your heart over time.

So, as you engage with Jesus remember that He doesn't desire a performance, He desires intimacy with you!
